A ceramic bust of a ruler overtaken by his crown. King Thorn tells the story of a figure who held onto power so tightly that it reshaped him. The crown no longer sits on top but has become part of his skull.
The sculpture plays with the absurdity of obsession, the way roles can consume us until they are no longer roles at all, but identity.
